Linda Day Ulasiewicz, the creative eye behind DayDream Photography, is an avid photographer based in Columbus, Ohio. Her journey as a lifelong Ohio resident has ignited a profound appreciation for the inherent beauty of her home state. Linda's lens is often drawn to the diverse landscapes, wildlife, and the serenity of both metropolitan and state parks.
Linda's heart belongs to the cosmos. Her fascination with the night sky reached new heights in 2020, during the memorable appearance of Comet Neowise. Since then, Linda has become a dedicated astrophotographer, eagerly capturing the enchanting Milky Way and other celestial wonders during each new moon cycle. Her passion has taken her to locations as far-reaching as Nova Scotia, and she's tirelessly planning to explore more breathtaking nightscapes across the United States.
Although Linda is primarily self-taught, she has invested the past five years honing her craft, refining her unique style and technique, and growing her photography business. Her commitment to learning and expanding her expertise led her to in-person classes at Shutterbug Training in Columbus, where her work is proudly featured in their Student Photo Gallery (www.shutterbugtraining.com). She has also embraced online learning through the Night Photography Academy.
